Sherry E Engler is an author and illustrator. She attended the University of Arizona; she received a diploma from the Institute of Children’s Literature and a diploma in Master Art from the International Correspondence School. She recently released her fifth book, a fictional suspense thriller, Secret Eliminations by the Iris Planter, in which Lily Iris Huntsman acts as a protagonist so as to rid the world of nine horrendously evil individuals. Earlier in her career, inspired by her passion for writing, she wrote Living with LEO: Law Enforcement Officer, a book where she lightheartedly shares her observations of family life (living as a wife and mother) with law enforcement officers, giving advice to law enforcement supporters often with a humorous flair. She has illustrated and authored numerous children’s books including Daisy Doo! Daisy Doo? What? Who?, Holden’s Magical Blue Marble, and Princess Dixie, Princess Ella and 7 Crazy Hens. She currently resides in Payson, Arizona with her husband, Don, retired Payson Police Chief. She enjoys spending time with family and pursuing her interests in writing and art endeavors.

Prologue to Secret Eliminations of the Iris Planter

As Lily Iris Huntsman laid on her death bed, dying of cancer at the age of seventy-eight, she was tormented by the question: Heaven or Hell? Even though she had always been a woman of Faith, believing in the works of a Higher Power; she had felt obligated during her life time to secretly eliminate (murder or aid in death) the maggots of society who inflicted pain on the innocent; who shattered the lives of their victims by the heinous acts of violence perpetrated against the weak, defenseless ones. During her lifetime, fearing justice would not be served or not be served in time to save other victims, Lily decided to secretly render aid to humanity by acting swiftly and quickly to end the horrid threat of the perpetrators. She killed them. She killed rapists, cheats, abusers, and murderers. She felt inspired by Devine Intervention and celestial voices, directing her to act to end the violence of the criminal elements. Although Lily had no remorse for her actions, she did ponder the question of Heaven or Hell?
